As we head into this holiday weekend, I think we are all prepared to celebrate in an unfamiliar way. No large gatherings to view fireworks, no crowded back yard bbq parties, and probably no packed beaches either. What will remain the same is festive eating and drinking! And when it comes to food and beverage, W&W has it covered. It should come as no surprise to you, that during the months of quarantine I enjoyed my fair share of wine. It got to the point where I got bored of my Pinot Grigio just as we turned the corner into May and welcomed Cinco de Mayo. I found a simple recipe online for margaritas, using only what I had on hand. The cocktail quickly became a Corona staple, and I have a few Instagram posts to prove it. Since this was such a hit, I decided to check out other types of margarita recipes, just for some variety. I found three more that sounded perfect for the summer; The Spicy Margarita, The Cucumber Cilantro Margarita, and of course, the Sparkling Rosé Margarita. Check them yourselves as you practice some social distancing this weekend.

The Only Margarita Recipe You Will Ever Need
2 oz Blanco tequila (I like Casamigos)
1 oz fresh lime juice
1/2 oz orange liqueur
1/2 oz Agave syrup (sometimes I use less)
Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker
Shake and serve over ice!

The Spicy Margarita
Same ingredients as above
3 jalapeno slices or coins (seeds removed)
Muddle jalapenos in a cocktail shaker, add remaining ingredients.
Shake and serve over ice with jalapeno slice garnish

The Cucumber Cilantro Margarita
2 oz Blanco tequila
1 oz cucumber simple syrup (avail on Amazon or in grocery stores)
1 oz lime juice
5 fresh cilantro leaves
Shake and serve over ice

The Sparkling Rosé Margarita
10 oz strawberry-basil-infused blanco tequila (you can make your own)
5 oz fresh lime juice
4 oz agave syrup
1 bottle Sparkling rosé (750 ml)
Mix all ingredients (except rosé) in a bowl or large pitcher with ice
Then add rosé and serve with a strawberry garnish
