Time for another Reader Request post and this is one request that I get asked repeatedly: what mascara should I try? And, for a particular friend who claims to never wear mascara (what?) LH, this is for you. Back in 2020, I published a post with my top ten mascaras, and to this day, these ten are still in my rotation, with one exception (I have dropped the Chanel– not digging the brush). In addition to the old favorites, I added a few new ones that are slowly becoming my daily picks (Rare Beauty & Cover Girl Clean). Browse below for options from the drugstore, Amazon, or Sephora. Mascara hack: try removing most of the mascara from the wand before applying. I scrape off excess mascara back into the container and wipe the brush with a tissue. With less product, you avoid annoying clumping, and the bristles are able to cleanly coat each lash for a more natural look.
