This past Easter I wanted to cook up a breakfast that was both simple to prepare and delicious to eat. After some online searching, I found this easy casserole that checks all the boxes. I have yet to feature a breakfast dish on Easy Eats, so here you go! This dish can also be made ahead of time and kept in the fridge overnight (just needs a little longer to cook). Ham & Cheese Breakfast Casserole
Ingredients
- 5 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups bread, cubed
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup ham, cubed
- 2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 dash worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 dash pepper
- cilantro or scallions as optional garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Spray 8×8 casserole dish with cooking spray.
- Combine all ingredients in casserole dish (start with wisking eggs) and mix well.
- Bake covered casserole for 30-35 minutes.
- Serve with fruit and a bloody Mary!
