Creative Christmas Cookies

Over the past few months, I have mastered the chocolate chip cookie. My daughter and I have tried no less than five recipes and now have our favorite, which we have perfected. Now that the holidays are here, I defer to my childhood friend Meg, who has taken the decorated Christmas cookie to a new level. Meg has been my bestie since we were in elementary school. I may kick her butt at tennis, but she is by far the more artistic one (a fine art major in college and incredibly talented with a paintbrush). I turn to her for assistance with all things creative, so naturally, I looked to her for my Christmas cookie inspiration as well. Her inventive flair comes to W&W in the form of 6 different holiday character cookies made conveniently from only 1 cookie cutter (how many times can I write the word cookie in one post?). For this activity, which is perfect for the family during the holidays, you will need one cookie cutter, ingredients for the icing, and a few candy pieces for details. Check out how Meg made a Santa, Mrs. Santa, Christmas Tree, Holly, Angel, and Reindeer out of a simple holly or oak leaf cutter. Bonus points to anyone who can come up with one more!
