A few weeks ago I posted a Book Blast featuring books picked by my husband Chris, a lover of non-fiction and historical fiction titles. This month I grabbed my paddle tennis partner Liz (yes, we are team Liz & Liz) to pick her favorites in another genre, the WWII era. I think you will find a few recognizable titles below and a few that were new to me (and I might even try to read)! Take it away Liz K:

I enjoy a range of book genres, but constantly find myself gravitating back to both historical and fictional World War II stories. Each book is unique and shows an important perspective from those who lived during this time. While the horrors of the War are unfathomable, I am amazed by the strength and will of those who fought to survive, the courage and determination to fight back, and the heartwarming tales of heroism and family bonds.

How do I find these titles to recommend to you? I read a lot, but I also refer to trusted book reviews— on Goodreads, NY Times, and Kirkus. I belong to a book club with opinionated readers and I live next door to a local bookstore insider who lends me advance copies! Basically, I do the legwork so you don’t have to. For more titles browse previous Book Blast posts or visit my Amazon store. Keep reading!
