The other day a friend asked, “will you give me your makeup routine?” At first, her request seemed a bit excessive, but I understood it nonetheless. After all, I follow numerous blogs, Instastories, and YouTubers hoping that they will do just that for me. So, I agreed to send her the list of my everyday makeup, and post it here for you as well. At my age, I feel like I need a little bit of makeup each day, regardless of what I am doing or where I am going. I do my best to heed the advice of my friend Kristina who told me that I needed mascara “even if you are only going to the mailbox.” I chose a lineup of products that look natural while hiding what needs to be concealed- your basic “no makeup” makeup look. Of course, everyone has their own preferences when it comes to what you put on your face, and I get it! I am not suggesting a full overhaul of your makeup drawer (although I have done that too, a few times). Of course, I am always trying new products that somehow jump in my basket at Sephora, so this routine does vary from time to time.
