If you have been following my blog for a while now, you are well aware of my obsession with all things skincare. This fixation began a few years ago when I noticed the obvious signs of aging and the lack of ammunition in my vanity cabinet. I began to research, landed on a YouTube industry expert Renée Chow (see my post on Gothamista here), and was hooked on what she had to say. I purchased Charlotte Cho’s guide The Little Book of Skin Care and a passion was born. Active, natural ingredients are the cornerstones of Korean skincare, and some of them pack a punch when it comes to effectiveness. Elements like Niacinimide, Vitamin C, Royal Honey, Green Tea, Propolis, and Hyaluronic Acid are just a few. Recently, K-beauty products have become more mainstream, available not only on Amazon and at Sephora, but on dedicated websites, like YesStyle, Peach & Lily, and my favorite, Soko Glam. When I was searching for some articles to link here for you I came across an Allure Magazine list of the 41 Best Korean Skincare Products and was pleased (and relieved) to see that we chose many of the same items. Take a look at my top ten (or maybe 12).
