Why is it so hard to find that perfect foolproof mascara? For me, I need to use it multiple times to make sure it hits all of my requirements: a brush that separates, a smooth (non-clumpy) application, and no flaking on my face. I really don’t like my lashes to look too heavily coated, so sometimes I even scrape some product off the brush before applying. I often receive new mascaras in either my Beauty Fix or Allure Beauty boxes, so it’s nice to try new products before buying full-size versions (this is how I discovered the Marc Jacobs, Lancôme Monsieur Big, and Juice Beauty faves below). The Juice Beauty one has a spiral brush which makes application so easy and smooth. You will notice some options that have been my faves for a while (Milk Makeup Kush and L’Oréal Lash Paradise) plus some that are brand new to me (Westman Atelier, and Diorshow Iconic). Recently, two friends have commented on my lashes, and both times I was wearing the Diorshow Iconic mascara! Do you have a favorite?
