Splurge or Save posts are some of my most favorite to research and write for you. I love finding a good deal, whether it’s a handbag, a t-shirt, or a bottle of facial oil. But, occasionally I like to treat myself to a bougie alternative–especially when it’s a reliable classic. So these posts satisfy both of my whims!
Ever since I became invested in my skincare routine I have spent a lot of time (and money) trying out new products. And if you subscribe to this blog, you probably do too! Perhaps the most important tip I have learned from all my experimenting and exploring is that there are effective products at every price point. And for those of us who get a little carried away (can you say, Sephora sale?) it is always a relief to know that reasonable and equally potent options exist. Saving on some products makes the splurge purchases easier to justify too! Below are splurge-worthy skincare products and their penny-pinching alternatives. I am hoping for some Augustinus Bader cream in my future.
