After months spent in supportive sneakers, my high heel pain tolerance is basically gone. I will no longer be reaching for the strappy stilettos or the constricting sandals. Now my footwear focus is on pure comfort because if my feet hurt at all, my night is ruined. A good friend of mine is celebrating a big birthday this spring, so I have an excuse to get a new pair of low comfy heels for the occasion, especially since it will be held in an outdoor space on a hard surface. First pick- these new pillow-top shoes from Tamara Mellon. With a full padded heel and footbed, they would be soooo comfy. Or, I could shop my closet and wear my sturdy Loeffler Randall leopard slip-on. Below are some of the other ones I chose– in every style and price. Wide heels, padded soles, and soft constructs all contribute to the relief that will keep you on your feet all night. I was surprised at how many I found that are on sale or under $150. My favorites are the simple black Bare mid-heel by the Row (splurge $790) and the Schutz Posseni Leopard print sandals (save $98). Grab one and let’s make a plan to go out soon!
