Earlier this fall I fell in love with a Khaite sweater, called the Molly Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater. Molly was oversized, with a loose boxy shape, and deconstructed funnel neck. She was made of soft ribbed cashmere in the most creamy winter white. She was cool and elegant at the same time. She was perfect in every way, except one- she was $1400. Oh, Molly! WHY? So I waited for her to go on sale. And waited. It wasn’t happening. Thus began my search for a suitable replacement: an oversized (but not huge), affordable, soft, comfy, chic sweater. My favorites of the bunch: the H&M wool blend v-neck, the H&M cashmere turtleneck, and the Nanushka knitted turtleneck (and maybe the Topshop houndstooth one too). See ya later Molly!
