If your skin absorbs cream blush or you dislike the look of a powder blush, this post is for you. The new viral Milk Makeup Water Jelly Lip and Cheek Stains will keep your cheeks flushed all day. Described by the brand as “a sheer, jelly lip and cheek stain,” the product is formulated with seawater, aloe, and vegan collagen to create an instant cooling effect during application. It comes in four vivid shades—Burst (poppy pink), Spritz (coral), Splash (berry), and Chill (red)—with a watercolor-like finish and buildable coverage. The pigmentation of this blush is quite intense, and a little goes a LONG way. Initially, I found it challenging to apply just the right amount; even one dab seemed like too much. After some troubleshooting, I figured the best application technique is with a makeup brush: swipe the brush over the top only once and pat it onto the cheeks. The color sets down quickly and lasts all day- no joke. I still love my creamy blush sticks, but I turn to my Jelly Tint as a first layer or a subtle natural flushed look. I currently have Chill, and I am anxiously waiting for Spritz to be restocked. These are annoyingly ALWAYS sold out at Sephora, so get on the wait list and purchase as soon as you get the email. They are also available sporadically on the Milk Makeup site.
