I used to be such an avid needle-pointer, making belts, pillows, ornaments, and a Christmas stocking (or two). For some reason, I let the past-time slip away from me, trading in the canvas and wool for more books and puzzles. The other day I came across the latest unfinished project in my needlepoint graveyard and decided it was time to get stitching again. I am starting small with an ornament canvas I had painted for my husband (a Detroit Redwings mini stocking). This simple project should be quick and hopefully lead to more in the future, like this leopard print canvas from Greystone Needlepoint. Time to get stitching–again!
