You can call it maroon, cranberry, auburn, rust, ruby, or oxblood. This deep, rich, red gem tone is one of my go-to fall staples. For my 40th birthday I treated myself and invested in the oxblood Valentino Rockstud handbag. Now I look forward to cooler weather when I can break it out again (just checked, and it no longer comes in the maroon color way-bummer). I just discovered the OPI nail polish the other day, forgoing my standby for this slightly softer shade– and I’m loving it. For a kiss of fall, try the Dior Dioific matte lipstick in shade #890 Audacieuse. Pair the Rag and Bone stretch suede bootie with jeans and the cashmere crew, or the Missoni dress with some black boots (Back to Booties blog post coming soon). The Jimmy Choo tote looks like it will hold my water bottle, laptop, and multiple face mists too. I might have to get the Moncler fingerless gloves as well– they unfold to go up over your wrist keeping your arm warm when you head out with a vest or light jacket.
