In addition to leopard print, I also love anything monogrammed–the more ornate, the better. To quote Reese Witherspoon, “If it’s not moving, monogram it!” When we finally got around to redecorating our master bedroom, I began the search for a special monogram for my bed linens. I wanted something unique and fresh and different from what I’d had in the past. A friend told me about Leontine Linens, a boutique monogram shop based out of New Orleans, Louisiana. Founded in 1996 by Jane Scott Hodges, this fledgling monogram shop was first run out of Hodges’s home. Over the years the company grew and now has a flagship showroom on Magazine Street in New Orleans (click here for a virtual tour of the space). Loved by great interior designers like Charlotte Moss and Katie Ridder, Leontine Linens has found its way into the pages of Vogue, Architectural Digest, and Traditional Home to name a few. In 2014 Hodges published her first book, shown below, called “Linens for Every Room and Occasion.” Since I basically blew the budget with my coverlet and shams, I needed to source out some more affordable options for sheets. Fortunately, I found these Mellanni hotel bedsheets on Amazon. They are so soft, come in over 20 colors, and have subtle silver piping that goes nicely with the Leontine items. With so many beautiful monogram options to chose from, I finally decided on the Colleen style for my bed coverlet and pillows. Which style speaks to you?
