One of my first “real” jobs right out of college was at the J.Crew catalog headquarters in New York City. The choice was simple– the company was young, fashionable and I had loved their catalogs while in school. I couldn’t wait to find the thick glossy pages stuffed into my cramped campus mailbox. During my years with the company, I grew to appreciate the brand even more –and sample sales too! As the fashions evolved from rollnecks, barn jackets, and chinos to wedding apparel and cashmere, one thing remained the same– quality, classic clothing, and accessories. Even in this internet age, I still look forward to receiving the catalogs in the mail. Don’t bother me when I sit down to flip through the pages and dog-ear my selections. This season was no different with lots of textures, stripes, and classic standbys. I have made it a little easier for you so there is no need to rush to the mailbox.
