The holidays are right around the corner, so I will be posting gift guide after gift guide to help get you inspired. First up are the presents for your besties. For my group of friends, we usually do a gift swap at an annual lunch- each year a different theme to make it more fun (and to get the creative juices flowing). We usually do the traditional Yankee swap where you draw numbers and hope to be the last to choose. This year our theme is “animal print” so I will be in my element. However, I am partial to the gorgeous coffee table book Jeweler, written by my college friend (and Town & Country Editor-in-Chief) Stellene Vollandes. If you have a jewelry lover as a friend, this book is a must. Another gem is the Jin Soon nail polish. Back when I was single and living in Greenwich Village in NYC, Jin would come to my studio apartment as a traveling manicurist. She has come a long way since “Bicycle Jin” as the owner of her eponymous Manhattan nail salons and signature nail polish brand. Is your friend a foodie, a techie, book lover? Are they crazy for bling, faux fur, or makeup? Whether your theme is “spa day” or “date night” I have you covered. Below are some favorite gifts received and given over the years, at varying price points. Have some fun shopping for your besties!
