Once Thanksgiving is over, I get right to decorating our house for the holidays. Each year I think the kids might get motivated and want to help me deck the halls. Nope. The decorating is left for me to do alone. But please, do not feel sorry for me– I blast Michael Bublé, pour a substantial glass of pinot noir and get down to business. Throughout the year I collect photos for inspiration: the perfect banister garland or the tablescape to remember. Pinterest is also a great resource, chock full of creative ways to embellish and adorn the house. This year, I am feeling a bit bored with the way I have done my mantles, so I am changing it up a bit. I might add some mini lights or candles and upgrade the stockings too. What will your mantle look like?
