Haute Houndstooth

Have you been seeing houndstooth everywhere lately? It seems that this fall, the plaid fashion is in! I remember back in the day when I worked for the J.Crew catalog and my favorite pair of pants were the windowpane check wool trouser. I must have worn those pants twice a week for a few years. Three kids later (and a lot of rosé) I am happier in the smaller check of houndstooth on my lower half, thank you very much. The traditionally preppy look is getting a chic reboot in sleek silhouettes and textures. I am also loving the look in silk, like this hot pink Veronica Beard top. The Balenciaga skirt and Soia & Kyo blazer are also high on my list.
