Last Saturday we attended our first Parents’ Weekend tailgate at BC, and it was a blast. The energy was high from the moment we arrived—everyone was decked out in school colors, music was playing, and the smell of burgers and BBQ filled the air. It wasn’t just about the food and drink, but the whole vibe. It felt like one big family reunion—with a healthy dose of school spirit! What made it extra special was seeing how excited the parents were to be part of it all. It wasn’t just visiting campus—it was experiencing the community, the pride, and the fun that makes Boston College what it is. Besides seeing our son Harry, it was the highlight of the weekend (and inspired this post).
