Fashion Feature: Tamara Mellon

Who doesn’t love shopping for shoes? Even though I have a closet full, I am always looking for another perfect pair to add to my collection. Designer Tamara Mellon, of Jimmy Choo fame, is one of my newest obsessions. These options aren’t too crazy and yet they are hardly plain. Her eponymous brand makes shoes for women, by women and vows to keep the price markup down and the design element elevated.  In her own words: “I co-founded Jimmy Choo in 1996. Today, I’m still obsessed with shoes, but not the traditional way of doing things. So I’m starting over. This is my reboot (pun intended). I’m redefining luxury and doing what I do best: designing shoes and breaking rules.” -Tamara Mellon
