My sister generously hosts Thanksgiving every year, and inevitably, I am asked to bring an appetizer. Since we live 2 hours apart, I try and keep it simple, but yummy. I saw this app on Instagram, and it’s this year’s choice. With just 3 ingredients, it’s rich, tangy, slightly sweet, and has the perfect crunch from pistachios. It’s simple to prepare, easily transported, and a guaranteed crowd pleaser. Bon appétit!
Boursin, Pistachio & Honey Appetizer
Ingredients
- 2 5.2 oz Boursin cheese rounds (Garlic & Fine Herbs)
- ½ cup Roasted and salted pistachios, chopped
- 2-3 Tbsp Hot Honey
- 1 jar Fig Jam (optional)
- Crackers, crostini, or fresh baguette
Instructions
- Spread Boursin rounds evenly in a small plate or shallow dish.
- Sprinkle crushed pistachios evenly to cover cheese.
- Drizzle desired amount of honey over the entire dish.
- optional: layer Fig jam on top of Boursin, before the pistachios.
- Serve with crackers, crostini, or fresh baguette slices.
