A new year means new books! I love coming across “New Releases” for 2019 so I can add them to my list of books that I want to read. I am particularly excited when I hear of a new release from an author that I have enjoyed in the past, and this year is no exception. The top row of books are by authors that are new to me so I may try those first. The remaining six books are by authors that I have written some of my most memorable reads: Fiona Barton (The Widow), B.A. Shapiro (The Art Forger), Lisa Jewell (Before I Met You), Tara Conklin (The House Girl), Wendy Walker (Emma in the Night), and Megan Miranda (The Perfect Stranger). Of course, most of these fall within the thriller genre which is my preference, but the top row holds a contemporary romance, fantasy, and an author’s debut mystery. Have fun reading along with me.
