Every once in a while it’s my turn to suggest books for our neighborhood book club to read. I love hunting for that next great title, digging around on Goodreads and reading Amazon reviews. Typically we choose new releases that are appealing across the many preferred tastes in the group. I made sure to include a few genres and some light choices since it is summer! How do I find these titles to recommend to you? I do read a lot of books, but I also refer to trusted book reviews— on Goodreads, NY Times, Kirkus and Youtube. I belong to a book club with a lot of opinionated readers. I live next door to a local book store insider who gives me advance copies! Basically, I do the legwork so you don’t have to.
