In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, I put together a Book Blast that includes some recommended reading. I’m sure we all know someone, either a family member or a friend, affected by mental illness in one form or another. Educating ourselves more on the topics of depression, anxiety, and social interaction is a critical step toward a better understanding and acceptance and ultimately, appropriate support. I used some cited sources below when researching this list, including a few recommendations from some close friends.
