Recently, I listened to a podcast called Once Upon a Time at Bennington College. I am not even sure how I came across it, but it sounded interesting because it centered on two famous alums, Bret Easton Ellis and Donna Tartt (two authors I love). It got me thinking that I really should reread both The Secret History and Less Than Zero, the two novels that made the pair of college friends famous. Then I started to think about all of the old faves that I could probably reread and enjoy all over again (since I can hardly remember the plots of books I read last year). Here are all of the oldies but goodies that I want to dust off and crack open one more time! Head to your local bookstore, add to the Amazon cart or put these on hold at the library soon.

How do I find these titles to recommend to you? I read a lot, but I also refer to trusted book reviews on Goodreads, the NY Times, and Kirkus. I belong to a book club with opinionated readers, and I live next door to a local bookstore insider who lends me advance copies! Basically, I do the legwork so you don’t have to. For more titles, browse previous Book Blast posts or visit my Amazon store. Keep reading!
