Recently I did a book blast post featuring my favorite skincare guides. I realize that these books can seem overwhelming to the beginner enthusiast. After all, the process of putting together a new routine may seem daunting to some: there is a time commitment required and the cost of all the new products. But, I am here to tell you that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to get effective skincare. While there are a TON of expensive options out there, there are also a few beauty brands that offer affordable skincare lines too. When friends ask me about inexpensive options, I like to recommend these 6 brands: Pixi, Versed, The Ordinary, Paula’s Choice, The Inkey List, and Acure. I included all of the pillars of a complete skincare routine: cleanser, toner, vitamin C, retinol, serums, moisturizers, and eye cream. All of these products are under $10 so there is no excuse to postpone. A few of the Paula’s Choice items are listed as “travel size”, but at 2 ounces, they are the equivalent to a full-sized product. The Ordinary and The Inkey List have full skincare lines at Sephora so you can load up during the spring sale on now thru 4/19. (photo credit: The Detailed Oriented Beauty)
